My name is Rosetta Clifton. I am married to Marion and we raised six children. I had two daughters and we adopted four. Also I was a therapeutic foster parent for several years. I attend Christian Life Fellowship and I play the keyboard there, I love to give praise to God through music. I was raised in a pastor’s home and am so thankful that I was taught about God and about salvation, John 3:16.
I had been praying for a job and one of the OJPM volunteers, Naomi Damron told my sister that they needed a secretary on the ladies side. I called and made an appointment. I me with Chaplain Dick and Joe Williams and was told about the ministry. I thought “What a wonderful ministry.” When I left, I felt I had the job. God opened the door and I walded through it. Proverbs 3:5,6. I’ve been here five years and it’s been the most rewarding time of my life. It is wonderful to give hope (which is Jesus Christ) to the inmates that come in the office.
I want to thank the volunteers for the time they give and Corporal Hall and Officer Roy; God has placed them here (OJPM).
I want to than the Chaplains, Don Duncan, Jorge Vara and Charles Jennings, for their help; their Christian lives are a blessing to me. They are such godly men and their goal is to reach the lost.
Most of all, I thank Jesus for the cross and the shed blood of redemption. It’s not who we are, it’s who He is.
