In their own words, thank you notes from inmates at Canadian County Jail
“Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me” Matthew 25:36 KJV.
We want to thank you all so much for taking the time out of your lives to feed us. Not only are you feeding us but also you are mirroring a Christ-like image. We all have made mistakes in our lives and for some it has caused us to be here and away from our families. We are all human; not animals and with this small act, it shows us that there are people out there who see the men underneath the mistakes. For that we thank you for everything you have done. We love you all, God bless you all and a Merry Christmas. May all your prayers be answered.
Thank you – N-POD
“Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew my thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works” James 2:18 KJV.
Thank all of the people who worked to make our Christmas a little better. It is very kind and giving; I’m sure you will be blessed for your kindness. I understand that we are saved by faith but there is no faith without works. So thank you for your faith.

“But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanses us from all sin” 1 John 1:7 KJV.
Thank you so much for caring what we had to eat for Christmas. A lot of guys in here are either depressed due to being away from their families or would be on the streets, so a good meal really boosts our moral, nurtures our body, mind and spirit. Bless the good folks out there who care for people, even us inmates.
I know we are the wrong doers of society but the presence of God is strong behind jail walls. Lots of guys run straight for the Lord when they feel their lives threatened. Having you show us that there’s people that care even though we messed up may lead us to a different path.
Thank you again and Merry Christmas – David Sartain
“It was meet that we should make merry, and be glad: for this thy brother was dead, and is alive again; and was lost, and is found” Luke 15:31 KJV.
My cellmate and I would like to thank everyone involved in this Christmas dinner. It’s truly touching to know that there are people out there that still care. Some of us have been here for such a long time that the negative far outweighs the positive. So for me, when people reach out and help, it really brings God’s grace, mercy and love to light. He is here for us and loves us when we don’t deserve it, in the same way you all are helping bring our spirits up by giving us back something we lost and may not deserve. So thank you all for the smile on our
God Bless – Nick Russell and Mikey Williams
